A fascinating day trip exploring art, architecture, sculpture and garden design in Harlow and the life of Sir Frederick Gibberd, who created the original Master Plan for Harlow. There will be a morning guided tour of the town and its sculpture followed by buffet lunch and introductory talk at The Gibberd Garden. In the afternoon, explore Sir Frederick’s own enchanting and extensive garden and selected rooms in his house. Transport provided with two pick up points available, some walking required, lunch provided and an afternoon cup of tea/coffee/coridal and biscuits.

13.00: Arrive at the Gibberd Garden for buffet lunch and introductory talk about Sir Frederick and his garden
14.00: Explore Sir Frederick’s garden (with many more sculptures) and selected rooms of his house. Tea/coffee/cordial and biscuits.
