Lord Carrington was a patron of Turn End Trust from its inception until his death in July 2018. A Service of Thanksgiving was held at Westminster Abbey on 31st January 2019. Peter and Margaret Aldington attended, and also represented the Turn End Trust.

The Turn End Trust was saddened to learn of the death of Lord Carrington on 9 July 2018.
